Apparently, share travel tips through this blog can help buy oleh oleh khas surabaya a lot of people in the planning journey. As my previous post, Tips and Tricks Travel to Phuket, I try to share my experiences, my wife and my cousin when enjoying the beauty of Mount Bromo is so amazing. Hopefully, through this article the reader can gain an amazing experience when traveling to Bromo, I even hope to get a better experience than I get.

Plan my trip to Bromo was planned long ago, but due to time constraints we (my wife) as an office employee makes us often delay the departure. Opportunity to visit Mount Bromo is finally able to happen when we happen to have a family event in Surabaya on May 12 last. Unfortunately, our time to be in Surabaya is very limited, and we were forced to set the time in such a way in order to attend a family event at the same time for Mount Bromo.

Experience visit Mount Bromo makes us very impressed. Bone-chilling cold it paid off with the beauty of Mount Bromo are hard to describe with words. There are various events that good and bad that we experienced during this trip. Unpleasant incident largely due to our lack of thorough preparation. Through this article, I hope readers can learn what I have experienced and can plan a better trip.
Clothing and equipment

Maybe some of you do not know that the air temperature at Mount Bromo can reach below 10 degrees Celsius. For us the Indonesian population who are used to the tropical climate certainly can not imagine how cold the air with a temperature below 10 degrees Celsius it. Here are some of my recommendations regarding clothing should be prepared prior to travel:

Jacket or winter clothes. I highly recommend using a jacket that can withstand the cold is not just fashion jacket alone. Besides jackets I suggest also bring some T-Shirt backup so that if the jacket still feel cold you can add T-Shirt before using the jacket.
Scarves, hats, gloves. Most jackets do not cover the neck area of the body. A good idea to bring a scarf instead of your neck will shiver. Similarly, hats and gloves. If you do not have these tools, you do not need to worry because there will be selling a variety of scarves, hats, and gloves will be there even if it costs a little more expensive.
Shoes. Never thought to use sandals, contour road to be traversed mostly rocky and slippery. Boots or hiking boots would be more usefull than sneakers because in addition to strong this type of shoe will protect you from injury.
Flashlight Lamp / Flashlight. If you want to enjoy the sunrise at the top of the hill, you will begin to climb in when the sky was still dark. Illumination of the flashlight will help you climb the steep road.
Mask. Mount Bromo region tend to be sandy and windy. With the mask can protect us from the nose and mouth sand dust exposure can cause coughing and sore throat.

Food and Drink

Indeed, you will find many stalls selling snacks there. But there is also a good idea to bring some snacks in anticipation of hunger because food prices there are relatively more expensive. As an example for Pop Mie brewed there priced at Rp 10,000 per his cup. In addition, do not forget to bring water or hot water to make coffee / tea.

One of our plans is to visit Mount Bromo. From the results asked some friends, the results of googling, finally we decided to see the sunrise at Bromo. Actually this is not recommended by my friend, because we had to leave early days of Malang, where we were staying. One alternative could stay in Bromo area, but because it was already booked hotels in Malang, we decided to depart from Malang. With some consideration, also see our children who are already used to traveling on foot since they were babies, we decided to Bromo early morning to see the sunrise.

I was then looking to travel to his Bromo. Apparently there are many choices of tour packages offered by local travel there. I also get a recommendation from the hotel. It turns out that the same travel once used by my other friend, and the results are satisfactory. Finally we chose steady touring recommendations.

On the appointed day, at 01.30 we were picked up at the hotel by the travel. I've set the alarm to wake up at 1:00, and it turns out right I wake up, there was a call from the receptionist that we've picked up. Fortunately I've been getting ready in the evening, so I was awaken first and second child to brush our teeth and changed course. For the youngest, I was wearing a jacket and enough direct me carrying. Praise the youngest no fuss and straight back asleep.

The journey from Malang to Bromo takes approximately 2 hours. Sister Safa and Mas Hafiz immediately moved to sleep alone. Likewise deck Reefa. Thank God for still drinking milk, when I woke up immediately breastfeed, and fell asleep again. We use Trooper car type. Actually at first husband does not agree, ask for the dressing Innova / APV, and a new change in Pananjakan jeep, where we will see the sunrise (prior to Bromo crater). But the travel advise retain Trooper because road conditions. And indeed finally we see during the trip we did not find the type of private cars, all cars to Bromo kind jeep / trooper.

On our way to Penanjakan, where we will see the sunrise, we were given extra a tour guide (not the driver), namely tourism student who was working in the travel field.

03.30 we got Penanjakan, after we parked towards the stalls at the bottom Pananjakan. We get warm tea to overcome instantly felt so cold that we got out of the car. In the stalls were also available instant noodles and fried bananas. Around these coffee shops, also many stalls suvernir, which sells jackets, scarves, hats, etc. There is even a jacket rental as well. Oh yes, if you want to urinate, in the stalls there is also a fairly clean toilets. <

04.00 we walked to the place to see the sunrise. There are some stairs to get to the location. Up above, we see the iron seat lined up in a row to see the sunrise. Unfortunately at the very front, a lot of people standing, even up to the wall boundary, to take photos.
